First of all, thank you so much for writing fic for me. I'm sure I'm going to love whatever you write, and I hope you have fun with it. I don't know how much or little detail you're going to want from me, so I'm gonna try to put a few ideas out there for each of my requests. I'm totally not married to anything I suggest, take or leave what you will. I've also tried to outline a few general things below, to give you a better idea of what kind of fic I like.

So, general things. I adore happy endings and tend to like types of fic that would generally end happily (fluff, humor, crack, etc.). I don't mind some angst if it's resolved by the end, but I'd prefer not to have anything too dark. I'm pretty easy on the rating scale; I'll happily read anything from the fluffiest gen fic to PWP, so go wherever you want with it. And with that, on to my requests!

Fringe
Alt!Charlie/Alt!Lincoln, Charlie/Lincoln

Fringe is an old love of mine, one of the few fandoms I was actually in while the show was still on, and I've recently been rewatching and remembering how much I love it. It can be kind of all over the place at times, but I love how much different sci-fi ground they cover. And pretty obviously, I'm a fan of Charlie/Lincoln.

For alt!Charlie/alt!Lincoln, I just love their dynamic. They seem like they have a lot of fun, and they're on pretty much the same wavelength as far as personality, sense of humor, and working together. We got just enough of them interacting to be intriguing, and to leave me wishing we'd seen more. I'd love backstory, if you're up for that: how they met, what they thought of each other. If you feel like adding Liv to the mix, that's great, too. I love the three-person team they've got going, where it really feels like all of them have something to contribute.

If you'd rather go another route, maybe how Charlie first dealt with the whole bug infestation thing. Did Lincoln always try to make light of it, or was he more serious about it? Or if you'd rather go with something later on, maybe Lincoln gave up on Liv as a lost cause and ended up with Charlie?

I know Charlie and Lincoln never actually met in canon, but I have a feeling they'd get along, and it would be really interesting to see what kinds of differences there would be from their alternate counterparts. Maybe they met earlier in their FBI careers? Or, going with an amberverse scenario, maybe when everything got reset, Charlie was still alive, and they met then. Pretty much anything in this fandom, I'm going to love.

Murdoch Mysteries
George/Henry

Murdoch Mysteries is a rather recent love of mine, but man, once I found it I just couldn't stop watching. I love the whole detective/mystery thing, but really, George and Henry make the show for me. They have wonderful chemistry, and they just seem like they really care for each other a lot. Probably my favorite example of that is when they're talking about George's book after it's just been published and Henry tell George that of course he read it. He says it in this voice that's just so...it's like, obviously Henry read the book, what else would he have done, because he has a massive soft spot for George.

I'm not sure you can go wrong with these two: working a case together (maybe something out of town, where they end up spending all their free time together), having some kind of crazy shenanigans, or something more serious that looks at what it's like for them trying to be together in a time when homosexuality was illegal.

The Librarians
Ezekiel/Jake

Ah, the Librarians. What a ridiculous, lovely, wonderful show. I love its overall light-heartedness, which makes its darker moments starker and more poignant. For this fandom especially, I'd probably prefer something on the more comedic/fluffier side, but if you've got some other kind of story in mind, I'm sure I'll love it. As for Jake and Ezekiel, I feel like they didn't get nearly enough time to interact in the episodes we got. For instance, we know Jake doesn't trust Cassie, but does he trust Ezekiel? Seems like maybe so, but why trust someone with a background like Ezekiel has? Or maybe just some sort of wacky magic-gone-wrong thing; I kind of love pretty much all the tropes that go along with this (strangely, bodyswap is the only thing I can think of right now, but hopefully you get what I mean). During show canon or after, maybe working together on a case on their own would be cool.

Doctor Who
Ben/Jamie, Fourth Doctor/Harry

Ok, so Doctor Who. Obviously I'm into Classic Who, and that goes for pretty much all of it. It can be ridiculous at times, but that tends to make me like it more. The slow-moving monsters, flimsy sets, alien planets that all look suspiciously like the same quarry...it's hilarious, and I love that.

I absolutely adore the Second Doctor's era, and Two/Ben/Jamie/Polly is my favorite Team TARDIS. Everything about that era is just so much fun, and pretty much all of them are my favorite characters. I know I requested only Ben/Jamie, but I would happily read fic with any of them, so if you want to add in other characters, feel free.

Anyway, for Ben/Jamie, I'd love to see something with the two of them running around, just being boys. Maybe something where they have a misunderstanding due to them being from drastically different time periods, or hell, maybe they both misunderstand something either way beyond their time or completely alien.

Weirdly, I always thought the Fourth Doctor and Harry worked well together, though I would have loved to see more of Harry being his competent doctorly self. Harry seemed sort of out of his element travelling in the TARDIS, probably because he was basically whisked away without knowing quite what he was getting into. I'd love to have seen him adjust to life with the Doctor and really embrace the chance to explore the universe.

The Eighth Doctor and Fitz I always sort of felt were practically canon, and there were certainly hints that there were feelings on one or both of their sides. What I love most about them, I think, is that they went through so much together, so many crazy messed up things, and if anything, seemed to come out of it closer than when they went in.

I'm happy to see anything with them, wacky adventures especially being a favorite, but I think angsty works pretty well for them, too. If you've seen the Eighth Doctor short where he regenerates into the War Doctor, I'd love to know what happened to Fitz at that point. Is he still with the Doctor? Did the Doctor leave him somewhere because things were too dangerous?

Also, for any of the pairings, I'd love to see any moments in between adventures. Hanging out in the TARDIS, actually going on one of those relaxing holidays the Doctor always seemed to promise but could never deliver on, that kind of thing.


I'm looking forward to reading whatever you write, because I'm sure it's going to be awesome. Please feel free to take or leave any of my suggestions as you see fit; fics from exchanges tend to come out so much better if you're writing something you want to write, not trying to fit it into anything I suggested. Have fun with it, and I'm sure I'll love it. :)
